University holidays combined with your accrued leave give you plenty of time to spend with family or to travel. Want to work toward another degree or expand your skill set? For eligible employees, fees are waived for one 4-credit course or one noncredit course per semester.* In addition, for eligible employees’ spouses and unmarried children under age 25, the comprehensive fee is waived for any full- or part-time credit courses taken at Longwood.
* Eligible employees must be continuously employed by Longwood University for a minimum of one year prior to being eligible to receive this benefit. Enrollment in credit courses is contingent upon having vacant seats in the class subsequent to regular student registration. Enrollment in noncredit courses is contingent upon having sufficient paying students to cover costs.

America’s oldest two-college town, Farmville is a charming, close-knit community in the heart of Virginia. Longwood’s campus is surrounded by locally owned shops and restaurants, and Hampden-Sydney College— another historic Virginia institution—is just down the road. Farmville also is conveniently located about one hour from the cities of Richmond and Lynchburg, and about 90 minutes from Charlottesville.
