The Sport Clubs program is designed for the very competitive player who travels and plays intercollegiate competitions to the sports enthusiasts who play with recreational and instructional clubs that conduct activities such as basic skill development, and intra-club tournament play.

Subject to individual sport club governing agencies, students, faculty and staff who have a current identification card may enjoy membership in clubs Sport Clubs.
No student, faculty or staff will be allowed to practice, travel or play in any club sport without personal health insurance. Each participant must complete a waiver before any activity takes place. Waivers are completed on Lancer Link. Faculty and staff are eligible for associate memberships with the ability to engage in unofficial competitions and games, as well as, any non-competitive recreational activities unless deemed otherwise by their sports governing agency. Each club is organized and run by students under the supervision of an advisor, in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Sports Programs. Emphasis is placed on student leadership opportunities and involvement.
Coordinated by the Assistant Director of Sport Programs, the purpose of the Council will be for the Presidents to recognize, understand and follow the policies and procedures that exist in order for the Club Sport to be a recognized organization by the University.
All Sports Club Presidents and Advisors will be responsible for registering the club with the University Center which is done on Lancer Link. One officer from each club is required to attend the monthly Sports Club Council meetings. Any officer who attends the meetings can be a part of the Sports Club Council.
