  • Sportable Visits Longwood's Therapeutic Recreation Program

    The therapeutic recreation department hosted Richmond adaptive sports provider, Sportable. Along with presenting on various adaptive sports and adaptations, students were able to try out various adaptive sports equipment.

    YouTubers Cole and Charisma didn't want to let online learning keep them from a scheduled visit with Longwood University TR students. On Friday April 3rd, they zoomed for an hour-long discussion with students about life with quadriplegia.

  • Therapeutic Recreation Organization Hosts Sportable

    February 21, 2020

    On Tuesday February 18th, Therapeutic Recreation Organization (TRO), the student organization for Therapeutic Recreation majors at Longwood, hosted Richmond-based adaptive sports organization Sportable, during their monthly meeting.
