The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is very excited to reveal the Fall 2020 Community Snapshot. Longwood’s Greek Community finished off the finale of 2020 with some great events, even in the midst of a pandemic! 

2020 was the 123rd year that Greek life has been on Longwood University’s campus. This past fall, we had 683 active and contributing Greek members. Our organizations gained a total of 50 new members that are excited and ready to bring some great things to our community!

Our 23 chapters came up with creative ways to thrive this semester by participating in their chapter's recruitment, chapter meetings, bonding, raising money and serving their communities in a mostly virtual format! 

While balancing everything, our Greeks still excel at academics! The overall Greek GPA was an outstanding 3.08, higher than the all-campus average GPA. The chapter with the high GPA was Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
