Three faculty members in the Department of Education and Counseling received awards at the September 11, 2025, convocation.  Congratulations to the following:

  • Dr. Kathleen McCleskey, Associate Professor of Counselor Education, recipient of the Provost's Scholarship Award, for demonstrating excellence in scholarship
  • Dr. Jennifer Gerlach, Associate Professor of Counselor Education, recipient of the Assistant Professor Award of Excellence, for demonstrating excellence in scholarship, teaching, and other professional activities
  • Dr. Evan Long, Associate Professor of Education, recipient of the Innovation in Teaching Award, for demonstrating outstanding innovation in teaching
