Terri Sabatos is Associate Professor of Art History at Longwood University. She received her doctorate from Indiana University, Bloomington with a focus on nineteenth century art. Terri has presented numerous national and international conference papers on various aspects of death and mourning in visual culture. Her publications include articles on vendetta portraits in early modern Scotland, images of widowers in Victorian painting, Victorian images of the massacre at Glencoe, and the funeral of Edward VII.
