Call Me MiSTER Scholarship

Students accepted into Longwood University’s Call Me MiSTER program receive a renewable scholarship of at least $3,000 per year. While the exact amount may vary depending on other financial aid eligibility, the Call Me MiSTER (CMM) Scholarship provides additional financial support to help students succeed in their teacher education programs.

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

The Call Me MiSTER Scholarship is automatically renewed for up to eight consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment, as long as the recipient:

  • Maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Remains on track to complete one of Longwood’s teacher preparation programs in a timely manner

Additional Scholarship & Financial Aid Opportunities

Beyond the Call Me MiSTER Scholarship, Longwood University offers a variety of additional scholarships and financial awards that Call Me MiSTER participants may qualify for at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Loan Forgiveness Programs

Past MiSTERs have also secured partial student loan forgiveness through:

  • Their school division employers
  • The Virginia Teaching Scholarship Loan Program (VTSLP) offered by the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE)
